There has been a significant increase in apartment rental fees in the capital over the past three years. However, the rise in prices did not affect all parts of the city new and older homes, or one-bedroom and multi-bedroom apartments in the same way.

Flats in the city’s prefab buildings saw an increase far below inflation while newly built studios in the downtown area, and homes in green areas proved to be a good investment – according to joint data collection by Cordia and ingatlan.com. The fastest price growth was seen in two and three-bedroom new constructions: over three years the average monthly rental fee increased by about 50%.
